These six-sided boxes are usually about 7 or 8 inches wide and 3 to 4 inches deep inside. This particular box was the first six-sided one I attempted and had Leopard wood sides and a Maple Burl lid.
Prices for these usually vary from $75 to $125 depending on the woods used.
This was the box I presented to the jury to allow my work to be placed in the historical Vista House here in Oregon, The stunning Maple Burl lid had a knot in it that looked just like a little Bear. You can see it just left of center.
These boxes are around 12″ x 7″ x 4″ and have a tray inside. All boxes shown on these pages are lined with suede or velvet.
Prices for this type of box range from $225 to $275.
This combination of Bubinga and Figured Maple really blended well together in this piece designed for a watch collection.
This style is better suited for watches and bracelets than the taller jewelry boxes. A little more room front to back makes it perfect for 10 or 12 items without crowding.
Sells for $230 and is a true bargain.
